Summarize your general beliefs of what makes a good leader

I think what makes a good leader is someone who is reliable, approachable, fair, respectful, motivating and an encouraging. Leaders are in key positions to make necessary changes in any given organization.

I believe a good leader is able to identify the shortcomings of the team and address them accordingly; in addition, good leaders are more interested in fixing a problem rather than finding someone to blame.

Of course we need to make people accountable for actions that are not in accordance with workplace environment; but at the same time, I think a good leader creates a culture of safety and non retaliation with staff, so that we are able to express our concerns and mistakes with the confidence that we will be treated fairly and not afraid that we will be mocked or taken advance of.
